on a 1 night stay at a hotel in blackpool my girlfriend and I were not happy about firstly been checked into a room that had not been serviced! but on been given a key to a new room and the key to our old room to get our baggage neither key worked in either the old room or the new room so back down to reception we went. 3rd time lucky we were in!!! on check out day after breakfast (only good part of the stay) yet more problems with the key so back down to reception again. got 2 new keys they dint work. this time we'd had enough we found a maid and she let us to our room we got our stuff and we checked out. for got to say our room was on the top floor and the lift was a joke (2 very small lifts for a big hotel)
