It's hard to believe how ignorant the public is about the hazards of lightning. The news just announced a three story house struck by lightning. Well, duuuuh, high scoll teachers tell students a tall house can be struck, so why doesn't the building code cover this hazard. It's a lot cheaper to instal lightning rods than to have part or all the house damaged.
