I've been lying

I have been in a severe depression for almost one year and as a result I do absolutely nothing all day. I nhave been lying to my ex-boyfriend, who loves me very much, about this because when he calls me daily I make up things that I say I have done during the day. Everyone (the 2 or 3 people still in touch with me) is very worried about the fact that I am totally inactive and conversations with these loved ones are very difficult. I have also been lying to my ex-boyfriend about the likelihood that we will get back together - I love him deeply and desperately want to be with him, but I have gotten so ugly, fat, old, flabby since we were together 1-1/2 years ago I can't bring myself to let him see me.
