I am in love with a man I have known for many years since we were both 16. Were both now 32. We dated for a short time when we were young but have mainly remained friends. The only reason I didn't want to be with him is his drug problem. He has been on and off drugs for years including meth. He always tells me he's clean or recovered but he keeps getting back on them I wish in my heart that he'd stop using because I love him more than anything But he won't quit it. I have a husband and 2 kids now. But he is the man I wanted It's is such a sad life to see.

everything happens for a reason. You would never be able to have a normal life with a meth addict so why don't you just be thankful for what you do have instead of loathing around in the past.
