Internet Explorer 7 Issue

I installed Internet Explorer 7 on my Windows XP Professional computer(S) and now I can't close a web page or windows explorer window or folder unless I click the x 10 or 20 times. I have several computers at different locations and they are all doing it and don't say I deserve it either.
