ignitions interlock

my complaint is with the ignitions interlock, i know that the one my husband just had installed is wrong. how can you prove it? the people installed it will not say that is wrong , but after some internet research,ihve learned all devices are not alchol specific devices. how can you fight a company that swears its products donot make mistakes.
