When I was slightly younger, I added someone I didn't fully know onto my Skype account. Soon after, I discovered that is was a young lad. I didn't know his age and I remember asking him (as was he habit of the time adding strangers) can you go on cam? As he didn't reply, at least I don't think he did at the time, I blocked and deleted him. A few months ago, I went into an absolute panic as I heard about child abuse stories and pedophile stories. I started to think if I was one, stupidly. It came down to harsh truth, if he did go on camera, I would of done absolutely nothing sexual in the slightest, except delete him. If he was older, the same thing would of happened as I am not gay and don't want to talk to guys in that way. When I was younger, yes, I was bi curious for a short amount of time. But never in a million years would I do something as sick as to add a 14 year old knowingly for perverse action. In my time, maybe I accidentally added him and mistaken him for someone else. I know in my heart, I would not do anything sick to a young boy. I have over reacted throught this whole ordeal and I want to find peace in my heart. It was a simple mistake - nothing bad happened and I had no secret intentions. So why do I worry so much?

If you didn't do anything wrong then don't sweat it. If the police ever looked into it they can get copies of all the conversations, dates, times, etc.. Why would you worry if it was only mistaken identity and you didn't talk dirty or try to groom the child? If the police contact you just tell them the truth and move on. If you lie they will catch you. They can track anything and everything that was said and done. I suggest never to accept strangers onto any online account. Good luck
