I lied about having sex

I told my friends and boyfriend that i had sex with someone when it didnt actually happen. I convinced myself that it did and felt nothing bad about it at the time, but now I am wracked with guilt because in reality my boyfriend was my first and i love him so much. This lie began before we began dating. I want to tell him more than anything and I dont think he will leave me, but this lie has gone on for long enough and enough people know that I feel like its too late to turn back now. Plus I dont want him to be upset....

if you were not his first, than chances are he knows he was yours. just come clean. most guys look at that as a trophy anyway.
