I Give Up

Somehow I am never the one that is "it" for someone. I don't know why. People tell me I'm pretty or funny or smart (they could be liars), but for whatever reason, I think I might be unloveable. I'm 38. I give up. I'm not even sure why I'm here, anymore.

Im 35 and a single mom. I feel the same way. And I had to face the hard fact that the men I found attractive were players. And no matter how good you treat a player he will leave for a new peice of ass, cause thats all we are to them. My next relationship will be with a man thats my best friend. I m thinking thats better cause already he knows what he loves about me. Maybe thats the best way to go for you too

Never give up the things you like.

If you could stop placing so much importance on being "completed" by someone else, you might live a happier life. Perhaps the kind of jerks you're normally attracted to aren't really attracted to you, but that doesn't mean that some nice guys whom you might not otherwise give a second thought wouldn't be. I know that being without "that special someone" can be lonely, but you have got to learn to be happy with yourself before you can expect others to be happy with you. Open your mind a little, don't be too mopey, and get your pretty, smart, interesting self some better friends. You can make it.
