I know I agreed to be just friends; I know you are currently tied up in a relationship but I can’t stand it any longer. I confess my love. There is no chance that you will read this and maybe that is why I can come out now and say it: you consume me. Every time I look in your eyes, every time I see the joy in them, how I wish I was sharing it with you.
I have waited through three girlfriends, hoping one day, you’ll see the girl beside you, pining away but putting up a brave face. I am like a dam near bursting but I’m afraid telling you how I feel will drive you away. Am I that unattractive? Are we too much of friends? What do you see when you look at me?
I know you enjoy my company; we share laughs and we talk a lot. How come “love” can’t come between us? I am tired of being just your friend. I need you. I want you. Please, want me back. You belong with me.

I applaud people who know for a certainty what they want, who they love and how deeply they need another. But, Arachne, you will have to take it to the next level. Tell him how you feel. Damn the consequence. Let him know how much you are dying inside and yearning just to be with him. In fact, let him read this and I daresay, he'd be heartless not to be yours.

Dear Arachne, I know how you feel. Having a close friend who pine for is the ultimate lovelorn. Being in love with your best friend is the worst in the world. I'm afraid though, you will have to go through a world of pain sooner or later. I suggest later because I see it's the only way there's a chance that he can be yours. Tell him exactly how you feel and how the friendship is killing you. Tell him it can't continue if you don't become lovers. There is a chance that he'd run away but there's also a chance that he will stay and date you. After all, he adores you to keep you close to him.
