I Confess

I have lost
a bet and I’m here to confess something embarrassing about myself. My buddies
are reading this, I’m sure. I have hoped they won’t drag this out and make my
pay but they did. Well, here it is. Brian, I slept with your sister. It was New
Year’s Eve. Remember when you said we should meet behind the flower shop, I
didn’t? I was meeting with Amber. You see, the day before, we sorta agreed to
do it. You may not have noticed but Amber has had a crush on me now for some
six months. I tried explaining to her that you wouldn’t like it but you know
Amber: she would have her way. Since your folks traveled for the holidays and
you weren’t at home, we did it there; in fact, we moved around the house a bit
and did it twice in your bed.
If it’s any consolation, I’ve tried to avoid her since then and I think she hates me now. It was the one time but I feel terrible about it.
