High School Crush.

I have a crush on a girl who is in my grade, a few of my classes, and a friend. I wouldn't say that close, but close enough. I don't think it would be possible for her to ever feel the same way about me, because I'm a girl. And I hate the hold she has on my heart. Already she has asked me to meet her after school, twice, and never showed up for either. It's really starting to hurt, and I think she might be guessing. She askes me to walk her to her class, and wants me to get a job at the safeway she works, but I have to wonder if I should. I don't want to lose her as a friend, which I know will happen if I ever confess my crush to her. I'm very protective of her, and I get a bit jealous when she talks about her (ex) boyfriend. I thought it would be better to have her as a friend rather than a nothing, but I hate the feelings being kept inside. But, if I told her, she would tell her friends and it would get around the school- not a good thing.
