Government Ponzi Schemes

I'm 62 years old. I haven't needed to apply for Social Security yet. But the money that I put in that the government promised to save and protect for me is gone. That means that when I do start to receive Social Security it will have to come from income taken from young people through higher taxes. For the young this will mean less money to save and spend for their families and a progressively more uncertain future as they age. The same problem exists with Medicare and will be repeated again with the new government healthcare system. A prudent person should be able to take care of themselves, and they could before the government decided to do it for us.

It was deliberate, this didn't happen on accident. This country was hijacked by foreign offshore bankers. They're going to suck us dry and kill us, I'm not being dramatic, its in their writings..

But this is happening to you that's the point.

You're missing the point. My concern isn't for me. It's for you.

I can imagine it must be terrible if I had to lose my life savings and now have to depend on the magnanimity of the universe. This should not have to happen to anyone

Sorry Pops. The country is a mess and we are going to half to carry you. What do they say? On the shoulders of babes? Out of the mouths of giants?
