Hope to spend the rest of their lives in church basements dwelling on alcohol,gee aint that something to look forward to.}They hear the stories of men and women whose experiences tally with their own. The expressions on the faces of the women, that indefinable something in the eyes of the men, { that would be the blank mindless sheep glazed over look in their eyes}the stimulating atmosphere of the A.A. clubroom,{ stimulating?? I can only imagine what urge that would stimulate!} conspire to let them know that there is haven at last. { our way is the only way}The very practical approach to their problems, the absence of intolerance of any kind,{ funny the wont tolerate warranted critcism} the informality, the genuine democracy, the uncanny understanding which these people in A.A. have is irresistible.'{ Ah yes, the were 'special' group think shines through.!} Have I found a real haven in A.A.? { sure but youll go to hell for believing false doctrine}
