After many years of driving GM Vehicles I have had it!!! I purchased a 2005 GMC Envoy SLT LOADED. After purchasing the vehicle on Saturday the games began. The finance manager called and said he messed up the paperwork and I needed to sign a new contract showing a higher payment. I said no I had a valid contract. I then called GMAC and was told everything was in order. I called a friend (lawyer) and was told it was an old trick because they were paid a comission on the financing they sold and what he was asking me to do WAS NOT legal. I called GMAC and the Dealership to complain and nothing happened. He continued to call and I told him to get my trade in and I'd be in to get my old car back I WAS NOT SIGNING A NEW CONTRACT. I had to threaten him with a lawyer to get him to stop. After that issue andthe fact that the dealership did not help (Southpoint - Austin,TX) I then went to Maxwell in Round Rock TX for a service issue. The memory seat stuck in the back position. I'm 6' and could hardly reachthe pedals and my wife COULD not ever drive the car. The dual-zone ac was also not cooling.I was called and told that it was repaired. I had a 3rd car at the time and stopped by to pick up the keys on the way home so my wife and I could get the truck later. when I picked it up the seat was STILL stuck. When I called the following day I was told that it was a Model issue with major problems and the needed parts were on back order. I called every week for 4 weeks asking if the parts were in. on the 5th try I was told...and I quote....' Oh yeah!!! they got here a couple of days ago'....you can imagine my anger....when I picked it up the seat did work but you should have seen the scratch they put in the door panel getting the seat out to fix it... I called th ask about that and they said bring it back but I had had enough..... I had to write an $8000 check to get rid of that truck when I traded for a toyota product....guess what IT WAS WORTH IT!!!!!!!! No problems and excellent service. NEVER AGAIN GM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
