I have a Fleetwood (Industrialized) Modular on frame house, in Ruther Glen, Virginia, that was in horrible condition upon arrival and has had 8 repair visits that still is not done to code and the cosmetics, of which they are not repairing, are horrible. The so called MODULAR house has maunfactured home cabinets and looks like a double wide trailer. The only upgrade I see is drywall except for in the kitchen, bath and closet areas. Our house is still in the repair (attempt)stage after 2o months and counting of repairs from top to bottom - side to side - end to end, of total agrivation from the factory, contractors and local inspection department. Working to have codes changed to insure local inspection department inspect to see that the Doubllwide and Modular houses, for all manufactures, are / have been set according to the Manufactures Set up Instructions. Interested in all complaints for the Modular on / off frame and the Doublewide homes set in the state of Virginia relating to complaints of the factory, dealers, contractors and county inspection process problems. Need all possible complaints and documentation if possible to take to the govenor of Virginia to stop the flagrant abuse of the setting of this style house and to insure the contractors stop doing it their way. I am very serious and seriously need a copy of your complaints relating to these homes. I can be reached at sclmc1(one)@peoplepc.com or L. M. Chaney 15412 Countyline Church Road, Ruther Glen, Virginia 22546. If we work together we can stop the deceiving vultures from preying on the low income citizens that has to buy these lower class homes.
