I purchased a Braun epil (lady shaver) for $59.95 on the web from Factory Outlet Store (NY)and the advertisement stated 'Included Free' (cosmetic pouch and cleaning brush). After opening the package the forementioned items were not included. I phoned the store and spoke with a customer service rep and he stated 'Those items will be shipped to you right away.' I asked what items? He stated 'the cosmetic pouch and brush'. I asked how can I track the item and he said 'it will be under the same tracking number'. Eight days later I had not received anything so I called and customer service representative 'Rose' informed me that it was a 'typo', that item doesn't come with those items and it has been corrected on the web. I told her that I placed the order mainly for the free items because 'Target' has the same item $49.95 cheaper without the pouch and cleaning brush. I asked to return the item and not pay for shipping and handling but she stated they don't pay for S&H. I asked 'why not?', it's not my fault I was given false information 'TWICE!' She said it's 'written on their web page'. I told her that it was false advertising and a conflict to use HONOR one statement printed on your web page and disregard another (free items). Later I requested to speak to a supervisor Arlene #142 made basically the same statements (can not pay for S&H etc.) I ordered because of the Ad (they've changed) and stuck without my 'free' (10.00) items.
