My wife and I went to our local Ethan Allen Furniture store and spent nearly $4000.00 on two chairs, a buffet and lamp table.(Arn't we nuts). Anyhow, we waited two months for the stuff to come in. When they delivered the goods, the two chairs were screwed up, one had an arm that was 4' longer than the other. When the delivery guys pulled the plastic wrap off of the buffet, the stain came off with the plastic. We called to complain as we wanted the furniture replaced. We were told that they ONLY are obligated to repair it, not replace it. Imagine that ! After NUMEROUS calls and bitching, they offered to replace only ONE chair and the buffet. In additon, after ;ooking at the labels on the chairs we came to see that the chairs are MADE FOR ETHAN ALLEN. Each chair was $859.00 and they have the nerve to sell goods made by company X. Ethan Allen, needs to learn how to build furniture and how to treat their customers AFTER the sale.
