Employer & Direct Deposit

I had direct deposit through my employer and with Wells Fargo I could get a Cash Advance of up to half of my paycheck and they would deduct anything I borrowed when my paycheck came through. My plan was to then re-borrow the same amount again until I could get on my feet. Not a good practice but it's what I had to do. I had $500.00 advanced to me and then one day my employer (I'm mad at them too!) decided to stop doing Direct Deposit without any warning to me. So my paycheck came through and they were going to deduct that $500.00. I begged them to split it into two pay periods and explained what had happened but they were steadfast in their greed and took their $500.00 plus the fees, etc. Things bounced all over the place along with the fees that go with it and I was sunk. I can't get out from under. Tonight I noticed on my bank account online that they were deducting something for July 12th and it was still the 11th! They can't even wait the proper amount of time to rip you off. They hold all the power. I can't go up against their saying I did it or owe it. Somewhere along the line they (banks, financial institutions, credit cards, etc) were given legal rights to rip the consumer wide open and they love doing it! I would change banks if I could find a decent one. And my employer is a jerk for discontinuing Direct Deposit. I've never heard of that! Tightwad for sure!
