Over the last few weeks, I’ve been having a funny series of dreams. Usually the dream will start with me driving my cab downtown. Often there is no passenger in the cab or maybe someone I can make out his face. Then while cruising, I’d see a rodent dash across the street and run under my wheels. It seems a lot like they were hitting me than I’m running over them. It first started with a mouse, then a rat, squirrel and rabbit then it would cycle back to a mouse. Last night, I think I hit something bigger than a rodent but I can’t be sure because I woke immediately. A shrink said it’s nothing but I know it’s a guilt dream but it’s been ten years since I hit that drunk fellow.

It might be worth it to talk to a dream interpreter as well. It sounds like your guilt grows just like the size of the object that comes at you. A guilty conscience is a heavy burden. You should seek to lighten the load before it consumes you..

Once I was driving in the night on a lonely stretch of road and hit something. Didn't even see what it was. That night I dreamt trees were chasing me. It was a meaningless association too

Serves you right. Hit a drunk fellow in his moment of vulnerability and now you are dreaming of running over rodents. I'm no guru at interpreting dreams but I don't see the correlation
