double glazzing salesmen

I am trying to get double glazzing in my home. Oh you would think this would be an easy task how wrong i have only met rude and pushy salesmen! Is there anything that I can do????? The last one was from everest I had expalined to him that I would not make a dissission there and then right from the start. After lisining to his banter for 2 1/2 hours refusing many times his finance offer and with no furm quote to think about I told him I was getting bored of this and could he just give me his best quote and leave me to the rest of my evening. A fair request one would think but no the man just got up in a huff and told me I was beeing very rude packed his stuff up and went. As I said waisting 2 1/2 hrs of my time. What can we do about these people???
