Husband at age 57 was diagnosised with rectal cancer 9/2003, doctors says curible with colostomy procedure. Of course we understand NOT 100%. Had cemo and radiation done 10/2003 thru 11/2003, Dec 2003, doctor said let cemo and radiation settle for the month. Surgery done 1/6/04, 1/9/04 went to recovery, 1/12/04 husband heard doctors say I think we gave to much radiation, 1/16/04 doctors prep DISCHARGE PAPERS knowing his groin was ENLARGED - husband couldn't make the discharge. January 19, 2004 takes him back to ICU, their looking for a 'BUG' that is causing stomach to swell. February 13,2004 - Unknown doctor tells me (We (HOSPITAL)don't know what else to do), February 14, 2004 Ombudswoman meets with me to convince me to PULL THE PLUG-we went in there with TRUST & CONFIDENCE - 'No I don't understand why'. NEXT DAY February 15, 2004 HUSBAND DIES. February 17, 2004 ombudswoman and president of HOSPITAL Hawaii) in husbands ICU room - somethings fishy, had AUTOPSY DONE 2/19-04 4 DAYS after husbands death. Hospital Ombudswoman made my 2 childrens and my round trip airline tickets to meet with her, president and doctor on March 12, 2004. Gave everything to a LAWYER 2004, well January 17, 200-6, Lawyer calls me in for the results that took him nearly the ENTIRE 2 YEARS with 1 month to spare for me. LAWYER informed me that my husband did not die from the surgery, doctors did a clean operation, we can not go after for malpratice, my husbands DIABETES DID NOT CAUSE HIS DEATH-he was not a chronic diabetic - 'Did you know your husband had 'Liver Cancer'. Autopsy showed that (HOSPITAL/DOCTORS/STAFF) 'was aware of liver cancer on day of the surgery 1/6/04-NO ONE TOLD ME or MY representative throughout 41 days of hospitalization/DEATH even at the March 12, 2004 MEETING with PRESIDENT. Imagine I paid a LAWYER who claims he had me pay only to have autopsy analized and help him to decide if I have a case or not. He sees 'No Negligent and Broken Breach of Contract'. therefore HE WILL NOT BE TAKING MY CASE, his there to make money. I'm disgusted. He allowed me no time to seek another lawyer due to the 2 years statue of limitation. After countless research without any knowledge and with Gods help I was able to find a system. I am awaiting in pursuing JUSTICE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS of my outrage with the MCCP, Medical Claims Coalition Panel here in Hawaii I pray the law have something to make the hospitals liable for victims 'Authorized Representative' pain and suffering to dealing with their negligent of withholding VITAL INFORMATION. They make the laws and break the law and leave innocent people TO PROVE THEM WRONG,confused, guilty, DEPRESSED/ANXIETY to points OF disgusted with life. We're not able to get lawyers to help us so we cry through a website. WE NEED TO PROVE OURSELVES, THEN WE NEED TO FIND A WAY, THEN C-O-S-T. In my case I feel we pay hospitals to care for us, then we pay them to Kill Us, and then we need to pay them to get ourselves back to reality. Who, What, How, can we hold hospitals for damaging our souls by hurting our state of mind due to their negligent. They get to analize us to see how we deal with their 'SILENT MISTAKE'. I am going through turmoils to find answers because of their negligent to inform me 'PATIENT REPRESENTIVE' (wife). The Point Here Is 'WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE TOLD' even if DEATH IS TO OCCUR'. The hospital 'DOES NOT ADMIT MISDIAGNOSIS NOR MISTAKES OR CRUEL CARE'. Unforseen medical findings during surgery still REFLEX TO 'PATIENTS BILL OF RIGHTS', PATIENTS MUST BE TOLD If able too, I will be happy to mention hospitals, doctors.
