Dangerous tree

We have a large oak tree outside our house on a busy main road and opposite a childrens nursery. This tree has been dead for a few years and we complained several times to Reading Borough Council. We had a letter from them two years ago saying the tree will be taken down during the winter months but so far this has not happened.
