sorry, I meant to have a real conversation with you. had a bug 'emergency' here. there was a huge one just above the screen door outside. my roommate notified me when she came in. it's a bug neither of us recognize. it took me a long time to get it down, and dead. I was armed with bug spray (which only weakened it a little on contact). I tried to hit it down with a tennis ball (hilarious to witness). it crawled down the screen door and decided to die a very slow death right by the door handle, so I took a piece of branch from a tree and knocked him down on the ground. you would have laughed watching us. I was the killer, she was the moral support : ). we're both hate palmetto bugs and this one was big, but it looked like a cross between a spider and an ant (giant size), all black, 2 body segments, no wings, long legs (I think six) - BIG. anyway, I will let you know when I make cheesecake - GRIN. the banana bread turned out okay. it doesn't look like Martha Stewarts would, but it taste great.
