Cuisinart ICE-25

This unit (Cuisinart ICE-25) does not specify on the manufacturer's box or in any discription that the freezer bowl has to be put into a freezer first before the ice cream can make. The manufacturer's box says 'no salt, no ice, just put ingredients into the freezer bowl and flip the switch. The directions are in the box (deep) on the back side of the recipe book, upside down. If a person had room in the freezer for a freezer bowl, they would just buy a carton of ice cream alread made. I live 25 miles from the nearest town and cannot always have ice on hand, so this unit was a dream come true. I called Cuisinart, but got an old witch that said Cuisinart was not deceptive in their description, and did not plan on correcting anything. I have to pay shipping to me and now, shipping, plus insurance, back to where I bought the unit.
