
Crude Treatment

I work for Marshalls in Phoenix Arizona and also a customer of these stores and I now do not know why. The treatment of managers and associates in a fast paced store is completely unacceptable by higher management. We pay these people 6-7 dollars an hour to be treated unfairly, we promote within, therefore to first pay a lower wage to new management than to hire somebody from the outside, leaving the company to spend more money. I have a boss who swears in front of his associates, degrades and completely makes others feel as if they were trash. I understand the importance of running a successful business, I have done it, and, I would have never treated my people like this. It is unprofessional, unacceptable and makes me want to completely tell everyone what happens behind the curtain. I am not a complainer, but, there is a way to talk to people. If we can't treat our people the way we would treat our customers, than, why should they spend the little money that they make on Marshalls merchandise, and, do you really think that the customer is getting the best service, because, Betty Jo is being treated poorly and like a criminal? but, that is another complaint on it's own. I think, if they don't watch it, some lawsuites are going to emerge. Get a grip Marshalls management, you may not have a job, because, your employees are not happy!
