around 5 pm, I was having dinner with my computer when my Hindu cat wanted to go outside. I opened the back door to let him out, and there was a girl standing there with a photo in her hand. She showed me the photo and asked me if I'd seen her cat. The picture showed the cat was a long haired calico, very pretty. I hadn't seen her and told the girl that. She said that my Hindu cat was her cat's boyfriend, so she thought her cat would be around. The neighbor's been here for two years and this is the first time her cat had ever been outside. Generally, in a situation like that, the cat will have a hard time finding it's way home. Anyway, I told her I'd keep an eye out for her cat, and we parted. Well, about 15 minutes ago, I went to my kitchen to refill my coffee cup, and I could see the shadow of a cat's head at my front screen door. I thought it was my cat, but it wasn't. It was the cat in the picture. I couldn't believe it. Her cat had come here looking for my cat, so she got home. The girl was so happy, she hugged me and thanked me a bunch of times. All of this completely worked out. She hadn't planned on knocking on my door. It all started because she had stopped to talk to my cat that I'd just let outside.
