I bought some items from the princess alice charity shop in worcester park having seen similar items much cheaper on e-bay I decided to return them but the shop refused me a refund saying it wasnt a good enough excuse, and proceeded to tell me about their no refund policy which was not on view to the public.I was given a number for their retail dept, which never answered and left several messages which were never returned,as far as im concerned theyre a money making racket and charity begins at home i will never frequent their shops again.i was in bhf in surbiton one day whhen an old lady who had forgotten her purse asked the assistant if she could take a book (value £1)read it and when she returned it would then pay the £1 the assistant refused,I offered to pay for the book, thanked me,took my phone number and 3 days later phoned to repay the moneywhich i said she was welcome to keep she said she would put it into the collection box in the charity shop,i told her she should either keep it or drop it down a drain, everything they sell are donated dosent cost them 1 penny, maybe they should try being charitable and try giving not just taking
