In August, 2006, we signed my son up to play soccer for Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament in Bayside, NY through CYO. We were told practice was twice a week and that my son would paly in eight games. After spending $50.00 for registration fee and another $100.00 for a uniform, cleats, shin pads my son got to play in 3 games. Four games were canceled because of weather conditions and field conditions. I questioned cancellation and field conditions because some days turned out beautiful, and very hot. We were promised that any canceled games would be made up and rescheduled at the end of the season and now that the season is over no games were played. CYO has reneged on their claims and promises. I have sent upper management my complaint and concerns through email because they don't return phone calls. All of my emails are simply deleted. I find there actions and behavior morally outrageous and offensive. I felt ripped off, cheated, deceived and defrauded by the Catholic Youth Organization. They make many claims and promises just to get your money and once you pay their fees, they do not provide the services promised. Do yourself a favor stay away from these crooks.
