I bought a toyota avalon, and had it for 3 months, there was a problem with the oil being changed, and it died. The mechanic told me that the problem was from before I bought the car, and that I shouldn't be held responsible for the damage to the car, problem is, I'm without a car, and the insurance company sponsering the warranty will not pay to have it fixed. There was obviously no preinspection or work done on the car before I bought it, and Drivers Select sold me the car, they had to have prior knowledge of some problems with the car, because it hadn't been maintained at all from the previous owner. If they had done any kind of inspection it would now be saving me $3800 and a great big headache.
