
British Gas Incompetent Administration

My late father paid an electric bill from British Gas in June but kept getting letters demanding payment. Each time he rang customer services they agreed they had received the money and said they'd sort it out. Instead they set a debt collection company on him. My father died recently and British Gas have been messing me about in the same way, phone calls and letters do not acheive anything. The debt collectors are bombarding me with phone calls and texts addressed to my father even though I keep telling them he's dead. They are visiting the house where my frail 75 year old mother lives and will not stop harassing us until British Gas tell them to leave us alone.
