BMW 323i 2000 - Auto Transmission Failure - No Rev

I've taken excellent care of my 2000 BMW 323i. But the transmission has failed. The car won't go in reverse. I've since learned this is a VERY COMMMON problem with the make/model/year, yet BMW will do nothing for the consumer. Consequently, I'm out thousands of dollars. My BMW has other issues and has become a major money pit. Think Mercedes or Audi, if you want a luxury car that's worth anything. BMW's are crap and they treat their customers accordingly!!!
