Best buy warranties suck

I have purchased 3 computers and 3 year warranties from Best Buy. When my hard drive or front bezel, as I was told by one of their own techs, go out, they refused to honor my 3 years warranty I paid $250 for unless I did a recovery WITH THEM on the phone. I have previously had to purchase their cd to do this for $31 and have someone do it for me to prove it was hardware and not software and was still refused when I went to make an appt to have someone come and replace my hardware that was faulty. There is nothing in my warranty that states they have to strip your whole harddrive every time you have a problem. I think it is ridicules that they are not intelligent enough to determine a software problem would not cause every usb port or memory card slot does not to work. How can someone refuse to send out a tech to fix my computer when I have a 3 year valid warranty? This is ridicules.
