BBandT Bank

I am a caretaker of my mother who is a senior citizen, another among millions in this retirement state. I have been accompanying my mother to her two banks for years. I drive her there, sit with her in the lobby and walk with her to the counter or to the customer service rep. They know me by name. I help her when she has difficulty in any given situation. My mother is not of this country and has difficulty in relaying her instructions at times, so I assist. My mother made a request to withdraw some money in cash. She wanted to take this cash to her other bank to deposit in a no risk account, CD. BBandT announces to the entire bank that my mother is in danger of carrying that $_,___ in cash out, she could be robbed. I guess so, now that the entire bank knows about it. They want to write her a check if she is insisting to remove it and wants to know if it's going to another bank because they can beat the interest. My mother who is afraid at this point. Declines to pursue her original intent for fear they will find that she has other money in another bank, and try to coerse her into controlling that money as well. I understand that other seniors have been intimidated by this bank as well. Once you have an account with them, they will stoop to nothing.... fear tactics, strong-arm tactics, etc. to keep the account from moving. How's that for good customer service.
