I have had so many negative dealings with a certain branch of Bank of America located on James St. in Syracuse NY. Not only do they seem uneducated but they are slower then slow!! Now I have to go get money for my lunch, I have a 1/2 hour lunch and can not deal with the very slow teller (she will take 20 min. if there is just you). So I decide to use the ATM machine to try and save time. It sucks in my card and gives a message that my card is being confiscated for security reason.. ??????? OMG!! So I go in and wait for 15 min (1 teller inside also) just to be told by an extremely rude woman that I can not get my card back and I need to contact my credit card company. So I call my credit card company and they say my account is in good order and there is no security reason for my card to be held. So I call the bank again. Get the rude woman I talked to before, She said it doesn't matter what the credit card company says my card will be destroyed. I talked with her for over 5 minutes and all she would say was there is no error on there part and my card will be destroyed!! So then I ask to speak with the “Bank Manager” he says they will try and make an exception. Calls me today and says no, they can not give it back to me, Wells Fargo policy who services their ATM!!! So I call my credit card company again and they said they will issue me a new card and I will receive it in 7-10 days but assure me that it was that particular ATM. So now I'm out my credit card because of my not being able to deal with the inadequacy of their customer service at the teller window and can not use their ATM. So now I have to refinance my mortgage and change my checking account to go to a different bank 10 minutes down the road on a ˝ hour lunch!! UGH!!
