Bad Franchise

Merle Norman Cosmetic Franchises are abusive to women in business. After people become involved with this company, most franchisees are forced to close their stores, loosing everything. This includes their money, health, and homes. The company makes money by opening and closing stores, not selling cosmetics, as the public is lead to believe. They once were a reuputable company. Now, they are deliberately forcing women out who have been in business for over 25 years--so they can sell new fixtures and large inventories for new stores. They are over saturating the market place--with new franchisees, who are unawares of the risk. The long term owners are forced to close, and have nothing to sell. Many are forced into bankruptcy. The company is ruthless. This is happening all over the U.S.
