my parents have just gone from very devout Christians to very devout atheists. I don't know if I can imagine life without bible camp or church or praising jesus. I tried to get my pastor and a couple of church members to talk to them but it didn't work. I don't want them to go to hell

Only someone who gets his understanding of Christianity from the hostile mass media would consider the Bible as the beginning and end of Christian theology. It isn't. It never has been. And any true Atheist, who really believes what they are saying and aren't just in it to attack other people's religions, would come to only one conclusion: If there is no afterlife, and everything is meaningless, why wait? Why not just kill yourself now? Either you're scared to, or you don't really believe in Atheism, you just like to argue.

Perhaps if you read the bible from front to back, instead of cherry picking, you will follow them to atheism. And to be honest, do you really think something that is so powerful that it created everything would be such a sick narcissist that he would torture people simply for disbelieving? Come on, if god was all knowing, he knew before they were even born they would become atheists. Oh, and you can't be "devoutly atheist", that's as silly as saying someone "devoutly disbelieves santa".
