Astro Van Anti-Stop brakes

I drive service vans in my line of work and have driven and owned several Chevrolet Astro vans and I must say that with almost 300,000 miles on my current Astro, they are very good vehicles for service. I have but one complaint, every newer model Astro with Anti-Lock brakes that I have driven I have either wrecked or almost wrecked due to the absence of stopping ability at 35 to 45 mph. I will only own older Astro Vans without Anti-Lock brakes and rebuild them for my own safety and the safety of others. Chevrolet Astro vans with anti-lock brakes used for service and loaded with tools and materials will not stop at 35 to 45 mph in a panic style stop. This is a fact that nobody seems to want to address and one that has probably already become deadly.
