Five people were arrested in Charlotte North Carolina after a Human Rights Event and Punk Rock Show. The first officer came claiming that the event had to stop as someone had lit a piece of newspaper on fire or something like that. The organizer told him that they had a permit until midnight but the officer still said to shut it down and the organizers complied, then the officer said something to the effect of 'doesn't matter now, I've called my boys they're coming' The organizers said 'but we're shutting down like you said' Cop said, 'Doesn't matter, my boys are coming'. So the other officers came and raided the event. They held people at gunpoint, they maced people, they tasered people, all during a peaceful event. Five of the people there were arrested and are still in prison. I, Lullabelle will be at the massive protest in Charlotte that will happen in tandem with protests all over the nation, on Oct. 5. Hopefully I don't get maced, tasered, held at gunpoint, or arrested, but I can't be scared of those things.
