Apple computers keep you in the dark!

Having bought an Apple MacBook Pro for my son's 18th birthday a few weeks ago we are now 'livid' to find out they've just brought out a new (and much better version). We asked at the shop specifically if newer versions were due out shortly, but were assured this was not to be the case! Have just been informed by the shop that there's nothing they can do and no point complaining to Apple either as they 'simply don't care'. What a poor state of affairs. Was going to buy another one for my younger son...but certainly won't now!!!
