AOL Spam

My complaint is that AOL does very little to resolve issues of people being inundated with spam.In two weeks I have received countless unsolicited emails with Pornographic,Phishing,Fraud and medical content and AOL seem to be able to do nothing.I even received a list of about 200 AOL usernames from an unknown sender and AOL's answer was 'Oh it must have been a friend or a friend of a friend who sent it and attached their address book to it'.Funny it was all AOL members names and I have no friends in Spain much less with the name who sent it. Now I have tried to cancel my account but AOL are refusing because I upgraded to Platignum seven months ago and they have a twelve month c ontract,Not that I ever signed one.So I am stuck getting all this spam without being able to do anything about it.Even my 15 year old son was sent some but I have been able to change his screen name,I can't change mine as it is the master screen name or so AOL tells me.Roll on April 2007 when my twelve months are up and I will definately cancel.I personally wouldn't recomend AOL to anyone.
