AOL 'Free Trial' scam

I quit AOL during my free period in August 05. Then found out they were billing me, so I quit again in September 05, and they credited my the difference, but kept billing me for new months. NEVER using their services. So, I called to complain in November 05 and a smooth talking associate offered clean up of previous months AND 3 months free service to try it out since Mr Wilson (AOL Customer rep) could see I wasn't using the service. In January, I saw I was still billed, so I contacted AOL and they said 'he shouldn't have said that, it was not approved'. I cancelled that moment agian. Case closed? No! September 30 2006, I get a letter from NCO Financial Systems requesting $28.90 for services (not) rendered. Irate, I called them and asked that AOL contact me directly (again). Reports that AOL will not let you leave, are TRUE. From Charleston SC... All accounts stated here are true.
