I must say that I'm absolutely amazed that a Company that sells its services by offering excellent customer support is in fact very shoddy when it comes to delivering (ex) customer support. Your quote “The settlement offer that I sent to you was based upon goodwill, as outlined in my letter to you AOL's policy in relation to the refund of periods of non use would be limited to 6 months payments “was never mentioned in your letter and if indeed this is AOL policy I wonder why you agreed when I spoke to you on the telephone to repay in the order of Ł500! I explained that payments were taken from a joint account during my marriage separation this was why continued payments were not detected by me for the period in question.
