ambulance charges

I was taken by ambulance to the hospital in February and Now I have to pay $600 for the ambulance. I don't think it is right, because they are saving lives. Instead they take people's money. I can't pay this bill because I have other expenses. Next time I will drive myself to the hospital and avoid these expenses. I don't know who to write to about this bill. carol32837@aol.com
