Two months before travel, I contacted Air Miles to arrange for tickets from Edmonton to New York and return. On the return flight, I have to travel to Vancouver, then back to Edmonton, which takes hours longer that a flight to Edmonton going through Calgary or Toronto. I accepted the arrangement because I wanted to go to New York however I believe Air Miles should have sufficient seats to get a person back and forth from Edmonton to New York without having to travel to Vancouver and back to Edmonton.
