I must confess, that like nearly everyone else here, I have a monster addiction to this site. I wonder if I even could leave. And it makes me sad all the notices our best are sending, telling us they are leaving. Good thing most are revoked, that makes me happy. Anyway, to put some substance into this post instead of it being nearly empty, I will tell you about new news... Vice President Dick Cheney has reportedly said or rather admitted that, The intelligence that told everyone that Saddam had WMD was wrong. He admitted that there was no WMD, Saddam was not planning to attack the US, some Federal reports that came out early this week state that unlike Bush would have liked us to believe, Saddam wasn't even in league with Al-Qaida. Saddam viewed Al-Qaida as a threat to his rule and his society, he didn't view them as possible allies. Cheney said vertabim 'President Bush would have ordered an invasion of Iraq even if CIA had told him that Saddam didn't have weapons of mass destruction.' But he said 'clearly, the intelligence that said he did was wrong.' He didn't say anything about how the international community advised America not to go to war in Iraq. Bush just blew 'em off. But Iraq had nothing to do with the modern crisis at hand when 9/11 happened. I just take this to mean something I already knew. The government and the media lies to get to it's means that are in it's interests, and they don't start coming clean unless they realize the public knows too much about it to keep it under wraps anymore. I wonder what else they are lying about. It scares me to think about all of those millions of classified documents the Bush Administration spent billions of dollars classifying. Perhapes it has something to do with Bush going AWOL when he was in the military, or how he sold all the stocks to his oil company right before he declared it bankrupt (illegal). His DUI, etc. And more sinister things perhapes.
