I had an abortion when I was a teenager. It's the biggest mistake of my life! I'm nearly 55 years old now and without child. I long for a child and often wonder what my child would look like and what he or she would become. All of my friends had children except me. I regret having an abortion. I was young and stupid and my sister pushed me into having it. She said I was too young and had my whole life to live. It all happened so quickly. I went to the doctor and within two weeks I had the abortion. I wish I had the baby and dealt with it. I truly believe I've been cursed since having the abortion so please don't abort your baby. If you can't keep the baby someone out there will give it a good life. I will adopt the baby if you want. I have everything going for me. A mortgage free house, plenty of money in the bank, a great job and most of all I have a lot of love to give to a child. Please don't abort. Thank you and god bless you.

At 5 weeks the foetus is the size of a sesame seed. It's made of 3 layers ( the ectoderm, the mesoderm, and the endoderm) and has no organs or tissues; it's literally a bundle of cells. Follow your personal views for abortion because it's your body, however it's NOT selfish. At 5 weeks the baby is barely developed and is not murder. While it's entirely possible you could regret an abortion, all those stories of people who've converted to the "pro-life" campaign because of the awful feelings and "emptiness" are a MINORITY! They exist but the media puts a lot more focus on them because their stories sell! You have to remember post-natal depression is a bigger likelihood, and most bad experiences with abortion were later than 5 weeks. I don't know who you are and I can't tell you what the right decision is for you because it's not black and white; It would be very wrong of any of us to tell you to definitely get or not get an abortion. Talk to a councillor and remember that you have 3 options, Keep it, adoption or abortion and THEY'RE ALL FINE.
