A stressed fresher

University. Fresher. I am stressed beyond belief. Everyday I feel useless as I know there is no way that I can revise everything I need to know for the exams. I have never felt as much as a failure as I do now. I seem to lack general knowledge too, which becomes quite evident when I am surrounded by such intellectuals. It is strange because I haven't felt like this in a long time. I feel that university is going to be a very difficult experience and i would like to be able and achieve a good degree at the end but I fear it is not possible. I have chosen a subject that I struggle with but I know if I master it, I will be able to master anything. Why is university so tough and where has all my motivation gone?

You'll be fine. Adjustment periods are always hard. Talk to a school counsellor for support. You'll be comforted to know you're not alone.

First year is toughest??? Idk where you people went to school, but my freshman year was just a repeat of high school....easy. I am about to be a junior and I am still waiting for it to get hard. That being said, the truth is only a small number of high school graduates are prepared for what lies ahead of them in college. You just gotta hang in there and know you're not alone. My school has a 96% failure rate.

first year is the toughest, because the last one is the easier, just work hard and you will not regret
