I have been carrying around a pack of female condoms ever since one of my close friends was raped. It’s been more than a year already and I was almost embarrassed the other day when my boyfriend almost discovered the condoms. It’s a weird thing to do I know but I’m so afraid of STIs that I’m willing to ask anyone attempting to rape me to let me slip one on first. Even though the campus is sane, sometimes a string of rapes start up as if a pack of monkeys periodically run through the school. It sounds ridiculous but it’s how my mind works.

If youre concerned about rapists why dont you invest in a gun or a pocket knife to protect yourself not condoms. Chances that a rapist would actually be respectful enought to abide by your demands are extremely slim. If they were concerned about whats best for you they would not be rapists.

This is a silly and wise solution. What can I say? If keeping a few condoms on you makes you feel safe, then it's ok.
