2002 Ford Escape XLS

I purchase a used 2002 Ford Escape XLS last week and not even 48 hours later, the truck would not start. The dealership had the vehicle towed to their mechanics and they are currently working on the problem now. I'm scared to take the truck back in fear of what problems may occur after this. Anybody else have this problem?
